Our story
Sandpiper Café started in 2014 as a tiny six-table breakfast counter, opened by two Vero Beach locals who believed a good morning starts with real food: eggs scrambled slowly, bread baked in-house, and coffee poured before you have to ask.
Ten years later we’ve grown into a full café — but the counter is still here, the pancake recipe hasn’t changed, and we still know most of our regulars by their usual order. Everything is made from scratch each morning, with Florida citrus, local shrimp, and produce from Indian River County farms whenever the season allows.
